The pressure reducing valve XLC 310/410 (RP 115)
is a pilot-controlled control valve consisting of main valve with position indicator, control unit, pilot valve, pressure gauge, stop valves and connecting pipes. The main valve cone is fitted with a soft seal. This valve which has been specially developed for drinking water applications, features an electrostatically deposited coating on internal and external surfaces and meets the KTW recommendation of the German Ministry for Health.
The control unit contains adjustable restrictors which allow the control characteristics of the pressure reducer to be matched to the system (closing, opening and response speeds).
The pressure reducer is completely piped. It does not require any additional pilot lines.

Description
Self-acting pressure reducers are simple control valves offering accurate
control while being easy to install and maintain. They control the
pressure downstream of the valve without requiring pneumatic or
electrical control elements.
The XLC 310/410 (RP 115) pressure reducing valve is a pilot-controlled
control valve consisting of main valve with position indicator, control
unit, pilot valve, pressure gauge, stop valves and connecting pipes. The
main valve cone is fitted with a soft seal. This valve which has been
specially developed for drinking water applications, features an
electrostatically deposited coating on internal and external surfaces and
meets the KTW recommendation of the German Ministry for Health.
The control unit contains adjustable restrictors which allow the control
characteristics of the pressure reducer to be matched to the system

The pressure reducer is completely piped. It does not require any
additional pilot lines.
The pressure difference between inlet pressure and outlet pressure must
be at least 0.5 bar!
The particle size of the medium shall not exceed 0.3 mm, otherwise a
suitable strainer must be installed upstream of the valve.
These valves are no shut-off elements ensuring a tight closing of the
valve. In accordance with DIN EN 60534-4 and/or ANSI FCI 70-2 they
may feature a leakage rate in closed position in compliance with the
leakage classes V.
